NCAA DII CENTRAL REGION POLL - APRIL 1

INDIANAPOLIS — Henderson State's women's golf team was slotted seventh in the first NCAA DII Central Regional Rankings, which were unveiled on Thursday afternoon.

The Reddies, who won their own Spring Invitational at Hot Springs Country Club two weeks ago, were one of five Great American Conference teams listed in the initial poll, joining Arkansas Tech, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Harding and Oklahoma Baptist.

The top nine teams in the final Central Region poll on Apr. 26 will earn bids to the 2021 Central Regional Tournament in St. Joseph, Missouri. HSU is in search of its eighth-straight NCAA Central Region Tournament appearance this spring. Henderson has been in every Central Regional since 2013 and also appeared in the NCAA DII National Championships in 2017.

The Reddies return to action on Apr. 5-6 when they play at the UAFS Invitational in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
