FINAL RESULTS
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - True freshman
Jenna Kate Bohnert, in just her second collegiate event, won the Flight 4 Championship at the GAC Individual Championships in Russellville Saturday afternoon.
Bohnert defeated Southern Arkansas' Annika Berrendorf 6-3, 7-5 after Berrendorf had won each of her first two matches in straight sets. Bohnert, after getting a first-round bye, won both of her matches in straight sets.
Mulan Kamoe won the Flight 1 consolation bracket by defeating last year's GAC Player of the Year Lea Grinberg out of Arkansas Tech, 4-2, 5-3. Later in the day, however, Grinberg got back at Kamoe after defeating her and

Tirzah Bailey and
Danna Nunez finished off the championships with a Flight 3 consolation victory over Ouachita Baptist's Carla Polo Gallart and Taylor Hansard, 6-1.
The GAC Individual Championships marked the final event for the Henderson State women's tennis team for 2022. The Reddies will return to action in the spring for the 2023 portion of their schedule.
