DAY ONE TEAM LEADERBOARD I
DAY ONE PLAYER LEADERBOARD
Â
TULSA, Okla. – The No. 10 Henderson State men's golf team finish in first place on the first day of the Tulsa Cup. The team shot 3-over 291 and is one stroke ahead of second-place Southern Arkansas University.
Â
The Reddies were through 12 holes before breaking due to the inclement weather and would only play one round on the first day.
Â
Josh McNulty ends the day tied for first place on the player leaderboard with a 3-under 69. The junior tallied seven birdies, four coming in the front nine. Not far behind,
Nathan Cossement finished 1-under 71 with two birdies on the back nine.
Â
Miller Harris shot an even-par 72 through the first round. Harris had two eagles on the front nine and two bridies. The second eagle by the junior paired with Cossement's last birdie would be enough for the Reddies to jump SAU on the leaderboard. Â
Â
Alex Hadden and
Cooper Williams round out the remaining HSU golfers. Hadden ends the day with a 7-over 79, while Williams shot an 8-over 80.
Â
No. 10 Henderson State will look to hold its lead as they resume action tomorrow at the Tulsa Cup.
