ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Out-of-state opposition will travel to the Duke Wells Center for the first time this season as Henderson State gets set to take on the University of Texas at Tyler on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
In the Reddies' most recent game, they took down the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, 77-66.
Ashley Farrar led the way with 21 points, while
Abbie Jiles and
Gracie Raby had 19 and 16 points, respectively.Â

Henderson started the game hot, scoring 20 points in the opening ten minutes but cooled down in the second and third periods. UAFS was able to keep the game close, heading into the final frame after outscoring HSU 18-15 in the third period. The Reddies caught fire again in the final ten minutes, scoring 26 points, sealing a victory for HSU.

Through four games, HSU is shooting 33% from the field and 32% from the three-point line. Farrar is the team's leading scorer with 84 points and is averaging 21 points a game. The Green Forest, Ark. native has scored 20 points in each of her last three games.

Henderson defeated UT Tyler last year in the first-ever meeting between the two sides, 73-65. Current Reddies Farrar and Raby led the team in scoring with 21 and 10 points, respectively. This will be the first time HSU will host the Patriots in the Duke Wells Center.

SCOUTING TEXAS AT TYLER
The Patriots enter the game against the Reddies on a four-game win streak and a 5-1 record. UT Tyler escaped with a win in overtime against Southern Arkansas in its last game. The Patriots outscored the Muleriders 16-10 in the extra period to get its fifth win of the season, 71-65.

Destini Whitehead led the way for UT Tyler with 20 points, three assists and three steals. Whitehead was one of four Patriots to score double-digit points against the Muleriders. UT Tyler shot 42% from the field and 32% from deep in its victory.

UT Tyler has scored 70 or more points in all four games during its win streak and has beaten all but one team by double-digit points. The Patriots are playing strong defense, as they have forced 52 steals and are averaging 13 a game. Teams are shooting 33% from the field and 31% from beyond the arc against them.
