COVERAGE LINKS

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - After winning three straight home games, Henderson State will hit the road and travel to Denton, Texas to take on Texas Woman's University on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
Henderson got its third win of the season, defeating the University of Texas at Tyler 67-57. Ashley Farrar led the way with 22 points, while Sonni Martin had a season-high 13 points and nine rebounds.

A slow start by the Reddies would have them trailing by four points after the first ten minutes. HSU caught fire in the second and third frames, outscoring UT Tyler 44-17. The team held the Patriots to six points in the second period and outscored them 16-3 to end the frame. UT Tyler began to chip away at the Reddies' lead in the final ten minutes, but HSU's advantage was too much for the Patriots to overcome.

The team is shooting 34% from the field and beyond the arc. Farrar continues to score at a high rate for the Reddies, as she now has 106 points in five games. Abbie Jiles and Martin are the team's leading creators, with 19 and 14 assists, respectively. Jiles also has 74 points, and 15 steals.

Henderson and Texas Woman's University will meet for the first time since the 2015-16 season. The Pioneers got the upper hand on the Reddies the first time they played, 73-53. This will be the second time HSU travels to the Lone Star state to face TWU.

SCOUTING TEXAS WOMAN'S
The Pioneers went 2-0 in the Midwestern State Tournament, taking down East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma State in their most recent games. TWU is 4-1 to start the season, with its lone loss coming in an overtime defeat to Harding.

Sadie Moyer led the team with 19 points and was perfect on ten trips to the free-throw line against Southeastern Oklahoma State. Moyer and Ashley Ingram lead the team in scoring with 66 points. The Pioneers are shooting 39% from the field and 23% from the three-point line.
