ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Coming in as the No. 20 doubles team in the nation in the latest ITA Division II rankings, partners
Mulan Kamoe and
Georjemah Row backed that up with the duo's third win of the season to bring the tandem's record to 3-3. Henderson State fell to Missouri Western on the afternoon, 7-0.
Â
Kameo and Row logged the only win of the match for HSU, defeating Griffons Anya Chavez and Isabella MacGibbon, 6-4. Unfortunately for the Reddies, that was the only doubles point they would see as MWSU took the doubles nod.
Â
Both Kamoe and Row saw tiebreakers in their respective tight singles matches, but the Griffons came away with both, leaving Arkadelphia with the 7-0 victory.
Â
Henderson St. (1-5) will stay in the Natural State, albeit on the road, when it heads to Clarksville, Arkansas, to take on the University of the Ozarks Tuesday, March 15 at 2 p.m.
