CORAL SPRINGS, Florida - After placing second in the Emerald Coast Classic, the Henderson State women's golf team came in at No. 16 in the latest Women's Golf Coaches Association poll.
The Top-20 ranking comes after HSU found itself tabbed second in the central region, behind only No. 18 Rogers State. The only other team in the Reddies' region nationally ranked is Central Missouri at No. 23 as Henderson is the only GAC program to make its way into the WGCA Top-25 poll.
Henderson St. will head to the Lone Star State to compete in the King Alfred Spring Invitational hosted by the University of Texas at Tyler March 28-29 as HSU will be the second highest ranked team in the field behind No. 2 Dallas Baptist University
