BENTONVILLE, Arkansas – After defeating Southern Arkansas in last year's first round of the GAC Tournament, 4-0, the fifth seeded Henderson State Reddies got a taste of their own medicine, getting knocked out by the No. 4 Muleriders, 4-0.
Mulan Kamoe and
Georjemah Row earned their 12th victory as doubles partners on the season, finishing with a 12-4 record at the No. 1 spot. The duo finished the season winning 10 of its last 11 matches. Southern Arkansas escaped with the doubles point after edging out HSU's No. 2 team, 7-5.
With teams playing till clinch, Kamoe and Row's matches were left unfinished before SAU claimed the 4-0 win.
Henderson State, in head coach Annabel Rowlands' first year, finished the 2022 season 5-11 and 1-4 in conference, including winning her first career game as HSU's head coach over Delta St., 4-3. Â
