2021-22 COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT BASEBALL TEAMS
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State first baseman Greyson Stevens was named to CoSIDA's 2021-22 Division II Academic All-District 7 baseball team on Thursday afternoon.
Stevens, a native of Pottsville, Arkansas, has a 4.0 cumulative GPA during his time at Henderson — the highest mark of any player on the Academic All-District 7 Teams — and was one of just 11 players from the GAC, MIAA and NSIC to earn a spot on the First Team.
A 2022 All-GAC Second Team selection, Stevens has 72 hits, 47 RBIs and a .356 batting average this season for the Reddies. He has started every game this spring and leads the team with 19 doubles. Outside of the diamond, Stevens was named Henderson State's 2022 Duke Wells Inspirational Award winner and currently serves as HSU's chapter president of Chi Alpha Sigma student-athlete honor society.
As a First Team honoree, Stevens now advances to the national ballot. The CoSIDA Academic All-America teams for spring sports will be announced on June 8.
