FARMINGTON, Pa. - In a nine-team field that featured six WGCA Top-25 teams, including four inside the Top-10, No. 6 Henderson State finished in second with a 54-hole score of 39-over 903.
The Reddies bested tournament host No. 5 Findlay by three strokes and No. 1 Dallas Baptist by five strokes. No. 11 Lee rounded out the top five with a 63-over 927.
Allie Bianchi,
Daphney Tilton and
Jinna Boonbumroongsuk all tied for ninth in the 45-player field, posting 10-over 226s across the three rounds. Henderson was one of just two teams in the field to have three Top-10 individual finishers.
Bianchi posted a 2-under 70 in the opening round, Tilton a 3-over 75 in round two before Boonbumroongsuk matched Bianchi with a 1-over 73 through the final 18 holes.
Felisa Sajulga ended her two-day showing with a 13-over 229 for a spot at 16th. After a first-round 8-over 80, Sajulga carded rounds of 2-over 74 and 3-over 75 to log her Top-20 finish.
Kayla Perera rounded out the Reddie five-bag and closed her HSU tournament debut with a 34-over 250 to place 34th.Â
No. 6 Henderson St. closes the fall portion of its 2023-24 season finishing no worse than second in its final three tournaments. The Reddies will open the spring season in February.
