Reddie Golf No. 1 in Final Men's and Women's Central Region Rankings

NCAA DII WOMEN'S CENTRAL REGION RANKINGS | NCAA DII MEN'S CENTRAL REGION RANKINGS

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State's women's and men's golf teams are each on top of the final Central Region Rankings released by the NCAA on Friday afternoon.

The women, who are ranked No. 6 in the most recent WGCA Division II poll, have won eight of the 10 tournaments they have competed in this year, including the last four in a row this spring. The Reddie men, who are No. 20 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II poll, have won six times in 2022-23. Their most recent win came at the Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma on March 13-14.

Nine teams and the top six individuals from non-advancing teams will be selected to participate in the women's regional on May 8-10 in Larchwood, Iowa. Henderson is the defending Central Region champion and is in search of the program's third trip ever to the NCAA Division II National Championships.

The men's regional on May 11-13 in Winona, Minnesota will include 10 teams and the top four individuals not with a team from both the Central and Midwest regions. The Reddies have been the No. 1 seed in the region once before in 2019 and are searching for the program's first appearance at the DII National Championships.

Both programs will look to defend their GAC titles on April 23-25 at the 2023 GAC Championships in Hot Springs.
