DAY TWO PLAYER LEADERBOARD
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – No. 20 Henderson State moved into first place at the GAC Tournament after posting a score of 4-under 284 in the second round at the Hot Springs Country Club. HSU was the only team to record a below-par score on the second day.
Through two rounds, the Reddies are 5-under 571 and are eight strokes ahead of second place Harding (+3), who finished the day 11-over 299. Rounding out the top three, Southern Arkansas shot 4-over on the day and is 10-over 586 over 36 holes.
Miller Harris paced the team with the best individual score, carding a 6-under 66 in the second round to finish the day in first place. The Carthage, Texas native went bogey-free across the first 14 holes and had four birdies and an eagle before recording his only bogey of the day on hole 15.
Alex Hadden tallied five birdies on his way to a 2-under 70 score and is tied for fifth place on the player leaderboard.
Ethan Wilkins posted the third-best score for the Reddies, shooting 1-under 71 with three birdies, ending the day in fourth place.
Nathan Cossement and
Cooper Williams are tied for 25
th place after finishing the second day of competition 5-over 77 and 6-over 78, respectively.
No. 20 Henderson St. will look to hold onto the top spot in the final round of the GAC Tournament tomorrow at the Par 72 Hot Springs Country Club.
