2023 CSC ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA WOMEN'S AT-LARGE TEAMS

AUSTIN, Texas - For the second time in three years, Allie Bianchi of Henderson State women's golf was named a 2022-23 College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American. The academic accolade comes three weeks after Bianchi received WGCA All-America Honorable Mention honors for her on-course play.

After landing on the Academic All-America Second Team in 2021, Bianchi was one of just 15 female student athletes in Division II across six sports to receive First Team honors in 2023.

The two-time Academic All-American finished her undergrad with a perfect 4.0 in Finance before moving to graduate school this past year, earning another 4.0 in Data Science. In addition to her All-America nod, Bianchi was Henderson State's female nominee for GAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

For her athletic performance, Bianchi closed her penultimate season at No. 49 on the GolfStat rankings, carrying the third-best stroke average on the team at 74.43 to warrant her All-America Honorable Mention recognition. The Allen, Texas, native won the National Championship Preview back in October of 2022 before helping lead her team to the National Semifinals at the same course this past May for the best finish in program history.
