ARKADELPHIA, Ark. Â - Â Henderson State's women's basketball team will host its home opener against Delta State on Wednesday, November 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the Duke Wells Center.
HSU returns to the Duke Wells Center for the first time since winning the GAC's 2024 tournament title in March. The Reddies won 10 of the 14 contests that they played on their home court during the 2023-24 season.
Jadah Pickens put up at least 10 points in each of Henderson's games in Warrensburg last weekend. She followed up a 10-point performance against Central Missouri with a 15-point showing versus Missouri Southern.
Bobbi Bazzle became the first Reddie to record double-digit rebounds this season when she collected 10 boards against Missouri Southern. The Woodlands, Texas, native, was second on the team with an average of 6.1 rebounds per game in last year's campaign.

Makenna Winans has shot an efficient .625 from the field. Her 16 total rebounds lead the team through two games.
Six-time national champion Delta State enters Wednesday's matchup with high expectations after winning its first two games of the season. Following a five-point win over Lane College, the Lady Statesmen posted a 35-point margin of victory against Lemoyne-Owen.
DSU hasn't been shy about sharing the ball thus far in the 2024-25 season. Seven different players have posted at least six points per game through two contests. Daniela Gintere leads the way with 10 points per game.
Delta State's top rebounder, Grace Watson, has proven herself to be a formidable force on both the offensive and defensive glass. Her average of five offensive rebounds per game is tied for 12th in all of NCAA Division II.
