ARKADELPHIA, Ark.  -  The Great American Conference named Henderson State guard Jadah Pickens its unanimous GAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

Pickens, a graduate student from Conway, Arkansas, received all available first-place votes after tallying 30 points against Delta State last Wednesday: the second 30-point outing of her career. She shot .600 from the floor, including a perfect two-for-two on three-point attempts. In addition to her scoring contributions, the former Conway Wampus Cat provided three assists, two steals, and a block in the 83-73 victory over the Lady Statesmen.

After three games, Pickens is tied for second in the GAC with an average of 18.3 points per game.

Jadah and her teammates will travel to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, for a road matchup at Northeastern State on Wednesday, November 20. Tip-off at the NSU Event Center is slated for 5:00 p.m.
