No. 13 HSU Leads the Arkansas Collegiate Through Round One

EL DORADO, Ark. – After one round of play at the Arkansas Collegiate, No. 13 Henderson State sits in first place with a team score of 35-over 323.
 
Four other GAC schools make up the seven-team field, with Harding in second at 36-over 324 and Southern Arkansas in fourth at +58. Rounding out the conference teams are Southeastern Oklahoma State and Arkansas-Monticello, tied for sixth at 62-over 350.
 
Three Henderson players currently sit in the top ten of the player leaderboard, led by Emmie Eriksson, who shot 7-over 79 and is tied for fourth. Allie Bianchi and Jinna Boonbumroongsuk are tied in seventh place after both carding a 9-over 81.
 
Just behind Bianchi and Boonbumroongsuk, tied in 12th place, are Daphney Tilton and Felisa Sajulga, who shot 10-over 82. Making her first appearance for HSU, Kayla Perera competed as an individual and posted a 13-over 85 in the first round.
 
Henderson will look to hold on to first place when they conclude the Arkansas Collegiate tomorrow at the Par 72, 5810-yard Mystic Creek Golf Club.
