MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - Following the first 36 holes of the Buccaneer Invitational hosted by Barry University, No. 12 Henderson State is tied for fifth with a 16-over 584 with consecutive rounds of 8-over 292.
Henderson sits 11 strokes back of first-place tournament host Barry while only being four strokes shy of third-place Keiser University.
Felisa Sajulga paces the Reddies after day one with an even-par 142 after carding back-to-back rounds of even-par 71. Sajulga, who is tied for third in the 60-player field, recorded a team-high five birdies across the second round.
Allie Bianchi and
Jinna Boonbumroongsuk are both tied for eighth at 2-over 144. Both Bianchi and Boonbumroongsuk tallied four birdies in the first round to aid in their Top-10 finish following 36 holes.
Emmie Eriksson (43rd)Â and
Daphney Tilton (T48th) rounded out the Reddie five-bag with a 13-over 155 and 15-over 157, respectively.
No. 12 Henderson State will tee off tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. CT from the Par 71, 5939-yard Miami Shores Country Club.
