ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - After Henderson State won the doubles point, all three singles victories for the Reddies came after they dropped their opening set to deliver HSU's third consecutive win with a 4-2 victory over Northeastern State at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.

The match was played to clinch as the Reddies took the first double matches before beating the Riverhawks in the race to four overall points.

Mulan Kamoe and Kristina Kozlova got the first win in doubles at No. 1, 6-4, before Jenna Kate Bohnert and Angela Georgieva clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at the No. 2 line.

Northeastern tied the match at one with a win at No. 5 singles before Kamoe put HSU back ahead with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles. After dropping the opening set, the reigning GAC Player of the Year took the final two stanzas, 6-1, 6-2, for the first singles win.

Bohnert brought Henderson within one point of clinching after echoing Kamoe's performance, responding to a first-set loss before by the next two and the overall match, 2-6, 6-0, 6-2.

Northeastern took a point at No. 6 singles to make the match 3-2, but Kozlova claimed the victory for the home team with a 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 win at the No. 2 line to seize the Saturday afternoon match, 4-2

Henderson State (7-3) will take a day off before hosting No. 25 Northwest Missouri State Monday, Mar. 11 at 1 p.m. before welcoming No. 29 Missouri Western State to Bettye Wallace Tennis Center on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
