REDDIE REPORT
Riding a four-game skid going back to the final game of the Arkansas-Monticello series the Reddies will look to bounce back versus the struggling Tigers.

During the skid the Reddies offense has scored three runs in every game but has allowed five or more runs in every game. During HSU's 10-game winning streak the Reddies allowed five or more runs just once.

Justine Burch has continued her excellent season, batting .389 with 21 hits and a team high 13 walks drawn. Burch has also stolen 13 bases in 14 attempts while leading the team in On Base Percentage.

Macy Hoskins had a big weekend versus the Bisons, improving her season average to .304 and crushed two two-run home runs that drove in
Hilary Akers. Hoskins is second on the team in total bases, despite playing in two less games.

Henderson State has three pitchers with an ERA below 3.0,

Jersey Cabana (2.28) and
Makenna Keeton (2.92). Johnson ranks 17
th in the country in ERA and posts the best ERA in the Great American Conference.

SCOUTING OUACHITA BAPTIST
The Tigers enter the 2025 Battle of the Ravine match up with an eight-game losing streak, struggling to win a game since defeating East Central at home 5-4 on February 23. Ouachita Baptist was one conference series win but has dropped their last two conference series.

Ouachita Baptist sits at 11
th in the conference in the standings, just one game back of Southwestern and Arkansas-Monticello.

The Tigers offense has struggled as of late, scoring just one run in their series versus Southern Arkansas. The Muleriders offense hung 29 runs on the Tigers pitching staff in 20 innings.

In the Tigers midweek series they traveled to Claremore, Okla. to face #6 Rogers State. In the double header the Tigers nearly pulled off the upset, falling 2-1 in the first game and 14-10 in the second game. The Tigers 10 runs is the most Rogers State has given up in a game this season.

The Tigers are led by Baylee King, Emily Reed and Jordyn Merrett, the three are all batting above .300 and have each scored 10 or more runs. King leads the team with a .358 batting averaging and is tied for the team lead in stolen bases with nine. Reed posts a .327 batting average and leads the team in RBIs with 21. Merrett boasts a .316 batting average and has started and played in all 23 games this season.

The Tigers pitching staff has had nine players see action in the circle but only Catie Amador and Tuesday Melton have pitched one inning per game. Amador maintains a 3.71 ERA and leads the team in wins with five, while pitching two complete games. Melton posts a 6.0 ERA and batters are batting .353 against her. The two are a combined 5-9 this season.
