EL DORADO, Ark. — Henderson State currently holds the top spot on the team and individual leaderboards at the Arkansas Collegiate in El Dorado, Arkansas.
The Reddies shot 18-over 306 as a team during the first round of competition on Monday. HSU currently sits in first place, followed by Harding at 21-over 309. Arkansas Tech rounds out the top three with a score of 36-over 324.
HSU senior Felisa Sajulga is tied with Harding's Sarah Kmiecik for first place at three-under 69 after 18 holes.
Lily Nelson and Paulina Narvaez both hold a share of fourth place with a score of five-over 77.
All five Reddie golfers - including freshmen Cloe Poizac (11-over 83) and Madolyn Kost (12-over 84) - are placed 29th or better in the overall field after the first day of the event.
Henderson will look to secure a tournament victory in the second and final round of the Arkansas Collegiate, which is set for tomorrow, Mar. 11, at Mystic Creek Golf Club.
