Reddies Fall to #22 UT-Tyler at Home

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State won at No. 1 doubles over No. 22 UT-Tyler on Friday morning in Arkadelphia but fell in the match 4-0.

The Reddies' No. 1 doubles team of Kristina Kozlova and Jenna Bohnert picked up a hard-fought 6-4 victory over the Patriots' top team of Carla Rodier and Allison Schwartz in what was the lone win of the day for HSU. It was the pair's eighth victory at No. 1 doubles this season and improved them to 8-3 overall on the year.

Despite the win, the 22nd ranked Patriots took the other two doubles contests to secure the doubles point for the match. UT-Tyler then claimed wins at No. 3, No. 6 and No. 1 singles to lock up the match, 4-0. At the time of completion, Henderson's Angela Dorado was in front at No. 5 singles 6-4, 4-4.

The Reddies will return to the court on Wednesday, March 19 at 2 p.m. when they host rival Ouachita Baptist at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center.
