ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Following a series sweep versus Arkansas Tech and the series finale versus Ouachita Baptist the Reddies host their final home GAC series versus the Rangers.

Henderson State is set to have first pitch versus Northwestern on Friday with the doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. with the second game following. Saturday will mark senior festivities before the series finale, with the game beginning at 12:15 p.m.
REDDIE REPORT
Henderson State returns to Dee White Field following a busy week that saw the Reddies win four of their four games including a sweep of the Golden Suns and a Battle of the Ravine win across the street.

The Reddies have gained momentum since facing #23 Southern Arkansas on the road. Since dropping the series on the road, the Reddies are 5-1 including an impressive 4-0 in conference play. HSU's five game winning streak is the second longest of the season.

GAC Player of the Week
Hilary Akers has continued to show why she is the best third basemen in the conference. Last week Akers batted .579 with four doubles, a home run, and 10 RBIs. In the second game of the series versus Arkansas Tech Akers hit a game-tying three-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to keep the Reddies alive. In extras, Akers delivered a walk-off single to lift HSU to a 4-3 win that clinched the series.

The Reddies have four batters batting .330 or better,
Josie Copeland is now batting .348 with four doubles and 19 RBIs. Against Ouachita Baptist Copeland went 1-4 with an RBI and a run.

Makenna Keeton had another standout week in the circle, pitching nine innings across three games while not allowing a run. Keeton's best performance came against the Golden Suns in game one of the series, pitching six innings and allowing just one hit in a 8-0 victory for the Reddies.

The Northwestern series marks the final conference homestand for the Reddies and the celebration of several seniors on the team. The Reddies will have 10 seniors recognized:

Addison Tidwell,
Makenna Keeton,
Meagan Allen,
Jordyn Holland,
Erika Bittinger,
Justine Burch, and
Raylee Carey.

The seniors will be recognized before the 1 p.m. Saturday game.
SCOUTING NORTHWESTERN
Northwestern comes to Arkadelphia to face the Reddies with a 9-28 overall record and 5-18 in conference. The Rangers sit at the bottom of the conference just one game behind Southwestern.

The Rangers have lost nine straight games heading into the series and were swept by Oklahoma Baptist last weekend. The Rangers did win the series versus Arkansas-Monticello, scoring 14 runs to just nine for UAM.
NWOSU is led by Avery Clark, batting .388 this season Clark leads the team in OBP (.470) and SLG% (.541). As a team the Rangers are batting .284 with an OBP of .357.

The Rangers pitching is where the team has struggled throughout the season. NWOSU posts a team era of 5.25 while opponents are at 3.75. The Rangers best pitcher, Chloe Brown (4-12) posts an ERA of 4.28 while pitching six complete games.
