RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Reddies earn their second win over the Golden Suns of the season and fourth in a row versus Arkansas Tech.
Henderson State traveled to Russellville looking to earn their second win in Russellville since the conception of the GAC. The Reddies did so with five singles victories and two doubles victories.

Jenna Kate Bohnert and
Kristina Kozlova got the day started with a 6-0 victory over Monica Balau and Natalya Montoya. Kozlova continued to find success in singles, defeating Balau 6-2, 6-3 earning her 10th win of the season. Kate Bohnert battled in a three-set match versus Elis Gergel, winning 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 victory, earning her 11
th win of the season.
Angela Georgieva continues to stay hot, earning her second win in a row, defeating Maria Krite 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-2. Georgieva and
Lily Winter battled versus Meaghan Butler and Melanie Griffiths, earning a 7-6(4), clinching the doubles point for the Reddies.
Angela Dorado Marin continued her dominant freshman season, improving to 10-3 in singles with a 6-4, 6-1 victory versus Butler.
Adiya Abdugappar won in three sets versus Montoya, 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-2. Abudgappar improved her singles record to above .500 with win.
Henderson State has won four straight versus the Golden Suns since struggling versus Arkansas Tech for years. The Reddies return to action versus #38 Southern Arkansas next Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Magnolia, Ark.
