MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Henderson State made its way to Magnolia to face nationally ranked Southern Arkansas in a battle before GAC postseason play, falling 6-1.

The Reddies battled early in doubles, #1 doubles Kristina Kozlova and Jenna Kate Bohnert bested Josie Holderbauch and Ifigenia Kafka 6-2. Kozlova in singles faced #3 Amelie Gindl falling 6-4, 6-2 while Kate Bohnert battled Holderbauch falling 6-3, 6-3.

Angela Dorado Marin was the only other Reddie to win a match, Dorado Marin won with ease 6-1, 6-1 versus Roksana Kokocha.

In singles the Reddies battled the Muleriders #4 and #6 to a third set before falling late. The Reddies nearly earned the doubles point before falling late 7-5.

The Reddies quickly turn to the final GAC match of the season, on the road at cross-the-street rival Ouachita Baptist on Thursday at 2 p.m.
