2025-26 Women's Basketball Game Notes
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Reddies will take to the road to finish out the week, visiting the Cotton Blossoms of Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday February 14th. Tip off is scheduled at 1:00 P.M in the Steelman Fieldhouse.

Henderson State faced Ouachita Baptist in the Battle of the Ravine on Thursday, defeating the Tigers 66-58.
This Reddie offense has recovered its potency the last two games, averaging 66 points per game over the last two contests. This has allowed Henderson State to rank third in the GAC in points per game (71.2).
Natalie Cardenas continues to lead the Reddies individually, ranking fourth in the GAC in points per game (18.8).Â
The Reddies this season rank fifth in rebounds per game (37.7), with most coming from offensive rebounds, 12.3 per game, as Henderson ranks third in the GAC.
Grayson Fairless leads the GAC in rebounds per game (10.2), and remains the only player averaging 10-plus rebounds a game in the conference.
Henderson State continues to protect the ball well, as they have given up the fewest turnovers in the GAC (255). The Reddies have forced 293 turnovers, averaging 14.7 points off of those turnovers.
Scouting Arkansas-Monticello
Arkansas-Monticello traveled to Southern Arkansas on Thursday, losing 56-48.
The Blossom offense struggles to put up points, as they rank last in the GAC in points per game (58.4). UAM is tied with the Reddies in shooting percentage (38.7) on fewer attempts. UAM's offense is built around two players, Alyssa Batton and Alindsey Long, who are averaging 12.7 points and 12.6 points per game respectively.
Defensively, UAM is a much stronger team, as they are holding teams to the fifth-lowest points per game in the GAC (63.9). While struggle to defend in the paint, the Blossoms are much stronger from three, as they are limiting opponents to a 30.1 shooting percentage from three, fifth best in the GAC.
Arkansas-Monticello struggles to rebound efficiently, as they average 35.1 rebounds per game, most coming from defensive rebounds, which they average 25.1 per game. Briynn Findley leads the Blossoms, averaging 4.7 rebounds per game.
The Reddies beat the Blossoms the last time they met, winning 76-41 in the Duke Wells Center. When playing in the Steelman Fieldhouse, since 2011-12, HSU is 8-6 against UAM, and is 51-44 all time.
