RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Natalie Cardenas earned her second Player of the Week honors this week, as announced by the GAC on Monday, based on the three games against Southern Arkansas, Ouachita Baptist, and Arkansas-Monticello.

The Mesquite, Texas native earned a double-double by scoring 22 points on 6 for 15 shooting, while also adding 10 rebounds and an assist in a 66-64 victory on Monday against Southern Arkansas. She followed that up with a 25 point, six rebound performance in the Battle of the Ravine, defeating Ouachita 66-58. Cardenas then scored 24 points, leading Henderson State to victory against Arkansas-Monticello 79-76 on Saturday, shooting 8 for 12 from the field, and 6 for 9 from the free-throw line. She is the team leader in points per game (19.0), which ranks fourth in the GAC.

The Reddies (14-8, 10-8) will continue their season on the road in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where they'll face Oklahoma Baptist on February 19th. Tip off from the Noble Complex is scheduled for 5:30 P.M.
