Dulincia Keener had a career-high 26 points to lead Henderson State to a 74-66 win over Arkansas-Monticello, Saturday in Monticello, Ark.
Henderson State, 12-5 overall and 7-4 in the Great American Conference, won its third game in five days.
Keener was a force inside going 10-for-14 from the field while making 6-of-8 from the foul line. The sophomore from Texarkana, Ark. also recorded her third double-double of the season pulling down 11 rebounds.
"We really worked on getting the ball inside and Dulincia did a great job going to the basket," said Henderson State coach 
Jill Thomas. "I am really proud of the way this team has come together."
"I have been working a lot in practice going more to the basket and boxing out," said Keener. "My teammates did a great job getting me the ball. We have been playing as a team and
working hard to better every day."
Arkansas-Monticello, 5-12 overall and 1-10 in the GAC, took a 33-32 advantage at the break behind 11 points from Tamia Grady and 10 points from Nikki Mullen.
The Cotton Blossoms used four 3-point field goals in the first 20 minutes, while Henderson State struggled from the perimeter as the Lady Reddies went 0-for-7 from the 3-point arc.
Despite struggling with its outside shooting, Henderson was solid from the foul line in the half as the Lady Reddies were 8-for-9 from the charity stripe.
Keener was Henderson's go-to player in the half scoring 12 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.
Aungelique Sledge, Henderson's leading scorer this season, managed just 4 points in the half making 2-of-5 field goals.
In the second-half, 
Krystal Beachum converted a routine 3-point play at the 17:46 mark to make the score 39-38.
The Lady Reddies would never trail again and would lead by as many as nine points.
Free throw shooting played a big part in Henderson's win as the Lady Reddies hit 21-of-28 free throws including 10-of-12 in the final two minutes.
After a slow start, Sledge finished the game with 13 points and 5 rebounds. The junior from West Helena, Ark. was 6-of-14 from the field, making just 1-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Beachum also finished the game with 13 points while having a career-best 7 assists.
Tiara Davis had a big day rebounding pulling down 11 boards while scoring 6 points.
Grady led UAM with 18 points, while Jordan Goforth scored 15.
The Lady Reddies finished the game making 26-of-54 shots from the field for 48 percent, despite making a season low 1-of-14 three-point field goals.
Henderson State will next play host to East Central on Thursday with tip-off against the Tigers set for 5:30 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
