LADY REDDIES FACE SOUTHEASTERN SATURDAY

Henderson State will attempt to rebound from Thursday's loss to East Central as the Lady Reddies play host to Southeastern Oklahoma, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center with tip-off set for 2 p.m.
 
The Lady Reddies suffered their first loss at home of the season on Thursday to East Central.
 
Henderson had its worst shooting performance of the season against East Central as the Lady Reddies made just 15-of-51 shots from the field for a 29.4 percentage.           
 
The Lady Reddies enter the game with a 12-6 overall record and a 7-5 mark in the Great American Conference.

Despite scoring a season-low 11 points against ECU, Aungelique Sledge remains atop the GAC in scoring, averaging 21.3 points per game and leads HSU in 3-point field goals with 58. Sledge scored 15 points earlier this season against Southeastern.
           
Krystal Beachum is averaging 12.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Beachum is second on the team in assists with 47.
 
The senior from Mexia, Texas scored 12 points and had 6 rebounds in the first game against SEOSU.  After averaging 16.5 points and 8 rebounds in three games last week,
 
Dulincia Keener was limited to just 5 points and 8 rebounds on Thursday. Keener is averaging 8.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.           


Southeastern Oklahoma sports an 11-6 record overall and a 7-4 mark in the GAC after losing to Ouachita Baptist 85-75 on Thursday.
 
Emily Williams leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per contest. Williams averages 16. 4 points per game against GAC opponents and is also a 83 percent shooter from the foul line (67-for-81).           


Breana Small-Peppers follows averaging 11.7 points while pulling down a team-best 7.8 rebounds per contest.         


Haley Schaeffer averages 11.1 points per game and averages 7.3 boards per game. Schaeffer scored 16 points and had 13 rebounds earlier this year against Henderson State.     
                         
The all time series with Southeastern is even at 5-5 following Henderson's 78-62 loss earlier this season.
