Henderson State will play its final home game of the season as the Lady Reddies play host to Northwestern Oklahoma, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center with tip-off set for 2 p.m.

It will be Senior Day at Henderson, with the Lady Reddies honoring their lone senior,
Krystal Beachum following the game.

Henderson State is 13-10 overall and 8-9 in the GAC after its 101-97 double-overtime win over Southwestern Oklahoma on Thursday.

The Lady Reddies will attempt to win their ninth conference game for the first time since 2006 when Henderson went 14-2 as members of the Gulf South Conference. Â

Beachum has been playing her best basketball as of late, averaging 24.0 points per game in the last five games.

The senior from Mexia, Texas averages 15.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season and has scored 20 or more points in four of the last five games.         Â

Beachum is attempting to become only the ninth player in HSU history to score 1000 points. In 77 games, Beachum has totaled 957 points. She needs to average 10.8 points in the next 4 games.

Aungelique Sledge remains atop the GAC in scoring, averaging 20.2 points per game. However, Sledges' numbers have dropped off a bit as she is averaging 16.0 points in the last five games.

Dulincia Keener recorded her fourth double-double of the year on Thursday and is now averaging 9.1 points and a team best 8.6 rebounds per game.          Â
Another player putting points on the board lately is
Vanessa Pieper. The junior from Warren, Ark. is averaging 11.7 points in the last three games. Â Â Â
Northwestern Oklahoma enters the game having a 5-18 record overall and a 5-12 mark in the GAC.

The Rangers average just 61 points per game which ranks last in the GAC. NWOSU has also had its shooting troubles as the Rangers rank 10th in the GAC in field goal percentage at 38 percent.
No one averages in double-figures for NWOSU. Kamera Bozeman leads the team averaging 9.6 points per contest. Bozeman has converted on 86-of-150 from the field for a team-best 57 percent. Bozeman scored 20 points in the first game against Henderson.
Sarah Parker follows averaging 8.2 points per game. Â

Earlier this year, Henderson State made just 20-of-56 shots from the field for 35 percent as Northwestern Oklahoma defeated the Lady Reddies 70-63 in overtime.

Henderson held a 56-53 lead with 21 seconds remaining in regulation following a pair of free throws by Pieper. NWOSU's Relina Johnson threw up a desperation 3-point shot from 28-feet to tie the score and send the game into overtime.

In the extra period, the Rangers made 9-of-12 free throws in the final 3 minutes to hold on for the win.

Sledge ended the game with 20 points to lead the Lady Reddies, while Bozeman led NWOSU with a game-high 21 points.
