Henderson State lost a pair of games to Northwestern Oklahoma State in Great American Conference softball action Friday in Alva, Okla.

Henderson State, 15-14 overall and 11-7 in the GAC, lost to the Rangers by scores of 5-0 and 4-1.

NWOSU pitcher Shelby Anderson gave up just one hit to win the opener. Alicia Zack broke up Anderson's bid for a no-hitter with a single in the sixth-inning.

The Rangers, 20-6 and 10-2, scored three runs in the third-inning to win game two.

Amber Klug had two of Henderson's five hits with Kayla Williams adding a triple.

The two teams will complete their four-game series with a double-header Saturday at Ranger Field beginning at 11 a.m.
