Henderson State looks to continue its surge to the top of the GAC standings as the Lady Reddies play host to Southern Nazarene in a four-game series beginning Saturday at 1 p.m. at Dee White Field.

The series was originally set to begin on Friday, but due to heavy rains expected for Thursday and early Friday, officials agreed to push the games back to Saturday and Sunday.

The Lady Reddies, 19-14 overall and 15-7 in the GAC, have won 9 of their last 11 games and have recorded an 11-game winning streak at home.

Henderson's offense continues to stay hot as the Lady Reddies are hitting .319 as a team. In the last four games, Henderson has banged out 45 hits including five doubles and 27 runs scored.

Amber Klug is hitting a team-best .394 after going 4-for-8 in Tuesday's double-header against Ouachita Baptist.

In the last 10 games, the senior from Kingwood, Texas is 12-for-23 and has a .583 slugging percentage.

Ashlyn White has been productive both at the plate and in the pitching circle.

Southern Nazarene enters the series with an 11-18 overall record and a 5-13 mark in league play.
