Henderson State will honor 16 seniors as the Reddies play their final home game of the regular season on Saturday against Southern Nazarene with kickoff slated for 2 p.m. at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium

Henderson will honor its seniors prior to kickoff. Ten of the Reddie seniors are four-year lettermen and during their careers at Henderson, they have compiled a record of 37-5, won two conference championships and made two NCAA Division II playoff appearances.

Southern Nazarene enters the game with a 0-8 record after losing last week to Northwestern Oklahoma 49-20. The Crimson Storm offense totaled 302 yards against the Rangers, while the defense surrendered 526 yards. Â
Southern Nazarene averages just 223.4 yards per game while scoring 9.75 per contest which ranks last in the league.   Â
SNU has used two quarterbacks this season with Jacob Spady getting the start this week against the Reddies. Spady completed 18-of-31 passes for 111 yards last week against NWOSU.Â

James Mauro started the previous seven games and has compiled 823 yards on 96-of-207 yards passing.
Johnathan Martin leads the receiving corps with 225 yards on 27 receptions, with Chris Hudson having 14 catches for 176 yards on the year.
SNU will utilize three running backs with Quincey Whitfield leading the team with 296 yards on 71 carries. Terence Olds follows averaging 46.6 yards per game having carried the ball 56 times for 233 yards. Daniel Ramos will also see action in the backfield and has compiled 208 yards on 52 attempts.      Â
The Crimson Storm defense has allowed 55.3 points and 307.7 rushing yards per game.         Â
Isaiah Young leads the team defensively with 71 tackles including 50 solo stops. Konner Bent follows with 61 tackles to go along with 9.5 tackles for lost yardage.

Last week, the Reddies rallied from a 12 point deficit to beat Southern Arkansas 29-28 on the final play of the game in one of the great homecoming games in Henderson history.
Henderson State, ranked No. 11 in the latest AFCA Coaches Top 25 enters the game with a 7-1 record having won six straight games.
Dallas Hardison orchestrated a 15-play, 94-yard drive in the final 1:40 last week in the win over SAU. The junior from Bentonville completed 7-of-11 passes for 75 yards, while rushing three times for 18 yards. Hardison finished the game with 229 yards passing on 21-of-36 attempts. For the year, he has completed 148-of-244 passes for 1527 yards for a 60.7 percentage.

Jaquan Cole totaled 73 yards on 22 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns last week. The junior from Duncanville, Texas leads the GAC in total rushing yards with 883 yards on 148 carries. Cole also had a team-high seven receptions for 43 yards against the Muleriders.          Â
JaVante Mack continues to be Henderson's top receiver with 38 receptions for 402 yards. Mack had a key 28-yard reception on the final drive last week.      Â

Joseph Snapp had 3 catches for 42 yards last week including a huge 20-yard reception to set up HSU's winning score. Snapp has 171 receiving yards on 18 receptions this season.

Last week the Reddie defense held a SAU offense that averaged 502 yards of offense per game to just 346 yards. Henderson has limited opponents to 314.0 yards of offense including just 111.9 yards rushing per contest. The Reddie secondary leads all of NCAA football with 19 interceptions while having 51 pass breakups.

Josh Davis and
Lawson Schulz led HSU last week with 12 tackles each. Davis leads the Reddies with 66 total stops on the year including a team-best 8.5 tackles for lost yardage.

Schulz has totaled 63 tackles with 6.5 tackles for lost yardage as well as five pass breakups and five quarterback hurries.    Â

Saturday's game against Southern Nazarene will be the fourth meeting between the two teams with the Reddies claiming victory in all three games including a 72-7 win last year in Bethany, Okla. Henderson State has outscored the Crimson Storm 217 to 38 in the three games.

Since Coach
Scott Maxfield's arrival, the Reddies have a 40-15 (.727) record at home including a 5-0 record in 2006 and 2010 at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium. The Reddies have a 24-7 record over the past six years at CHS.
