Henderson State's softball series with Northwestern Oklahoma has been moved to Russellville due to the inclement weather expected in the Arkadelphia Area.
The Reddies, 16-6 overall and 7-3 in the Great American Conference, last played at home on Feb. 8.
The series will be played in Russellville beginning with a Saturday double-header at noon, followed by a twin bill on Sunday at 10 a.m.
The Reddies currently sit in third place in the Great American Conference standings, while Northwestern is seventh with an overall record of 12-11 and a 7-5 conference record.
HSU leads the GAC with a 2.64 ERA and is second offensively with a .343 team batting average.
Sarah Gipson has cranked out four home runs this season, and leads the team in RBIs with 32, while also leading the team with a .429 batting average.
After being named GAC Player of the Week for her efforts at Southwestern Oklahoma last weekend,
Keirsten Seahorn looks to continue her strong batting performance, and ranks second on the team with a .404 hitting percentage.
Ashlyn White has 25 RBIs on the season, and leads Henderson State with five home runs.
The sophomore from Longview, Texas also has a 6-2 record in the circle, appearing in 10 games and sporting a 2.45 ERA.
Leading the team with a 1.93 ERA is
Michelle Sorensen, who has a 9-4 record in the circle. The freshman has been impressive in 14 appearances, as opponents are only hitting at .186 percent.
Amy Halter is tied with Gipson for the team lead in hits this season with 30, and has scored 22 times this season.
Northwestern Oklahoma is led by Jordan Haya, who has a .368 hitting percentage and 12 RBIs on the season.
Allora Miller leads the Lady Rangers in the home run category, blasting seven in the first 23 games. Miller also sports a 7-4 record from the circle with a 3.22 ERA.
The lead the GAC in several statistical categories, including runs scored (163), RBI (145), and opponent batting average (.236).
