Henderson State returned to the courts for the first time in over two weeks as the Reddies lost to Southeastern Oklahoma 8-1, Wednesday at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center.
 
In its first Great American Conference match of the season, Henderson State opened with a win at No. 1 doubles as Annie Shannon and Amanda Korinihona took down Alexsandra Reljic and Ilga Racika-Racko 8-5 to improve to 6-3 on the year.
 
Southeastern Oklahoma, 12-4 overall and 3-0 in the GAC play, won the remaining doubles matches and swept all six singles matches to win the match.
 
The Reddies, 4-5 and 0-1, will play three more GAC matches in the next four days beginning with a road trip to Oklahoma on Friday.
 
Henderson State will face East Central in Ada, Okla. before traveling to Bethany, Okla. to face Southern Nazarene on Saturday.

The Reddies will return home on Monday to face Harding beginning at 2 p.m. at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center.
