KIAWAH ISLAND, SC — Henderson State was poised to move up the leaderboard on Tuesday at the Ocean Course Invitational after shooting 298 in the final 18 holes, but heavy rain denied every team a chance to finish play and negated the entire third round.
Although the Reddies were able to complete their round, several teams remained on the course when rolling rain storms hit, forcing a stoppage of play that was never resumed. Results from the end of Tuesday's second round will serve as the
final team and player leaderboard.
HSU will play again on March 9-10 when it competes at The Arkansas Collegiate at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Arkansas.
