Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Arkansas Collegiate

EL DORADO, Ark. – Reddie men's golf completed play at the 2026 Arkansas Collegiate on Tuesday at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado. Henderson State finished in 10th place, a three-spot drop from Monday's 36-hole standings.

Cale Preston played as an individual and finished the best of any Reddie golfer with a 24th-place finish. Preston turned in a 9-over 81 to finish at 23-over for the tournament.

Colin Purifoy led the way for HSU's team score on Tuesday, firing a 5-over 77 that included five birdies. The senior finished in a tie for 27th place with teammate Jacob Knowlton, who carded an 85 on Tuesday.

Cooper Williams improved his individual standing, moving up four places to finish 36th after an 8-over 80 on Tuesday. Williams finished 13 places ahead of Brode Horton, who shot 82 in the tournament's final round to finish 30-over for the tournament. Alex Cuadrado rounded out the scoring for the Reddies, carding an 89 in the final round to finish 71st.

The Reddie men will be back in action on April 6th and 7th, competing in the Firekeeper Open in Mayetta, Kansas.
