Reddie Golf Finishes Second at Texarkana Invitational

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Reddie men's golf finished alone in second place at the Texas A&M-Texarkana tournament, placing three golfers in a tie for second on the individual leaderboard.

Jacob Knowlton, Brode Horton, and Colin Purifoy each finished at 13-over-par to tie for second, one stroke behind medalist Noah Sandlin of Tyler JC (+12).

Knowlton carded rounds of 77-75-73, closing with a 1-over 73. Horton matched that final round with scores of 75-75-73. Purifoy posted the lowest final round among the trio with an even-par 72, finishing his tournament at 76-77-72.

The group entered the final round with the lead; however, a team score of 13-over in Tuesday's third round proved the difference, with the winning team from Tyler Junior College shooting just 3-over to make up what was an eight-stroke difference after Monday's first two rounds.

Everson Adams finished 30th at 31-over-par (81-84-82). Bailey Doe placed 45th at 43-over-par (93-85-81).

The Reddie men return to action next week at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado for the 2026 Arkansas Intercollegiate.
