DAY ONE TEAM LEADERBOARD I DAY ONE PLAYER LEADERBOARD
 
Henderson State finished day one of the Battle for the Belt in first place ending rounds one and two 4-under 284 and 3-over 291, finishing 1-under 575. 
                                                               
Alex Hadden carded a 1-under 71 and 2-over 74, finishing the day tied for sixth place. Hadden ended day one 1-over 145 with a total of ten birdies. Josh McNulty tallied an even-par 72 and 1-over 73, placing him in sixth place with a 1-over 145. The junior had five birdies and three eagles, two coming in the second round.
 
Nathan Cossement shot a 2-over 74 and 1-under 72 to finish tied for sixth on the player leaderboard. The junior had ten birdies, ending the day 1-over 145. Miller Harris carded 1-over 73 in both rounds, placing him in 14th. Harris tallied a 2-over 146 with seven birdies and one eagle.
 
Brady Perkins shot 4-under 68 and 12-over 84 to finish 8-over 152, tied for 38th place. The junior had seven birdies, five coming in the first round.
 
The Henderson State 'B' team finished the day 24-over 600, carding a 13-over 301 and 11-over 299, finishing in ninth place.
 
Simon McBride recorded a 2-over 74 and 1-under 71, ending day one 1-over 145. McBride had six birdies, three in each round. The sophomore finished sixth on the player leaderboard. Jacob Knowlton finished the day 5-over 149, carding a 2-over 74 and 3-over 75. Knowlton tallied six birdies, four coming in the back nine over the two rounds.
 
Both Cooper Williams and Ratio Visuttipinate finished 9-over 153, tied for 43rd on the player leaderboard. Williams had rounds of five-over 77 and four-over 76, recording four birdies. Visuttipinate finished the two rounds four-over 76 and five-over 77 and had four birdies.
 
Henderson's 'A' team will look to defend the top spot tomorrow at Hot Springs Country Club.
