FINAL RESULTS
 
SEARCY, Ark.- Henderson State Cross Country program finish third out of seven teams with 100 points, defeating National Park College, Williams Baptist, Lane and Wiley in the Steve Guymon Invitational.
 
Junior Heidy Galvan scored the Reddies 16 points with her 22nd finish, crossing the line at 21:00.2, averaging 6:45.2 a mile.
 
Martha Mosqueda earned HSU 18 points, finishing 30th with a time of 22:49.7. Just steps behind her freshman Faith Aitchenson finished 31st, completing the race at 22:57.6. Minutes later, Tessa Kuykendall finished 38th with a time of  24:31.8.
 
Kristina Kozlova(25:08.9) finished a third of a second before Taylor Long(25:09.2), finishing 44th and 45th, respectively. Sophomore Mariana Murcia finished the meet 60th, crossing the line at 29:47.4.
 
The Reddies return to action next month to race in the Lois Davis Invitational Friday, Oct. 14, at 5:30.
