FARMINGTON, Pa. – After carding a 7-over 295 round three, No. 18 Henderson State finishes second at the Nemacolin Intercollegiate with a final team score of 25-over 889.
University of Indianapolis claimed the team win after shooting 6-under 282 in the third round and finished the tournament 7-over 871. Findlay took third place at 26-over 890 while Tiffin and Hillside College round out the top five in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Miller Harris went low in the third round, posting the best individual score on the team across the two days, shooting 3-under 69 with seven birdies. The Carthage, Texas native's low round saw him jump into the top five on the player leader, finishing tied for third at 1-under 214 and earning a spot on the all-tournament team.
Alex Hadden saw the second most birdies in the 45-player field, logging 12 over three rounds. Hadden notched four of them in the third round on his way to a 1-over 73 for a final tournament score of 8-over 224, tied for 15
th place.
Ethan Wilkins (T22) matched his first-round score, carding a 6-over 78 on the last day for a 54-hole score of 12-over 228. Just behind,
Cooper Williams saw his best individual round of the tournament, shooting 3-over 75 with a pair of birdies. The Crossett, Ark. native shot 20-over 236 over the three rounds and placed tied for 35th.
No. 18 Henderson State will break for the semester after wrapping up its final fall tournament and will resume play at the start of the spring semester. The Reddies posted a top-five finish in all four invitationals this fall, including a record-breaking win at the Battle for the Belt.
