FORT SMITH, Ark. – Through two rounds of play, No. 11 Henderson State is in first place at the Hardscrabble Invitational with a 3-over 563. The Reddies are 14 strokes ahead of second place No. 17 Midwestern State with a 17-over 577.
 
Miller Harris had the best individual performance among the 49-player field, finishing the day 5-under 135 with a tournament-high 11 birdies. The Carthage, Texas native started the day 2-under par and improved in the second round, shooting 3-under.
 
Illinois Wesleyan transfer Ethan Wilkins made his first appearance for Henderson and finished the day even-par 140, tied for second place. The Sussex, Wisconsin native carded a 3-over par in the first round and improved on his score, recording a 3-under 67 in the second round with five birdies.
 
Alex Hadden recorded an eagle to start the second round and is one of three players to score an eagle on the day. The Eminence, Kentucky native started the outing with an even-par score through the first 18 holes and followed it with a 2-over 72 in the second round to finish the day 2-over 142. Nathan Cossement logged seven birdies across the 36 holes and carded a 6-over 146.
 
The five-bag Cooper Williams finished the two rounds 12-over 152 after shooting 8-over in the first round and 4-over par in the second. Brady Perkins played individually and carded a 10-over 150 across 36 holes.
 
The No.11 Henderson St. men's golf team concludes the final round of action tomorrow at the Par 70 Hardscrabble Country Club.
