GAME COVERAGE LINKS | 2021 SOFTBALL GAMEDAY INFORMATION

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Coming off its second win of the season and first conference win, Henderson State returns to Dee White Field where it will welcome Ouachita Baptist for a Battle of the Ravine: Doubleheader edition Tuesday, Mar. 9. First pitch for game one is at 4 p.m. with game two to follow.

REDDIES REPORT
Henderson State (2-10, 1-5) went 1-2 against Arkansas-Monticello this past weekend, winning the final game of the series, 4-2. Kaitlyn O'Quinn had three hits in her four at-bats and one RBI for the contest. The Coppell, Texas native registered seven hits through the three games against the Blossoms.

Through 12 games, O'Quinn is pacing the Reddies in hitting with a .457 average in her 11 games played. The freshman is also getting on base on nearly half her opportunities with an on-base percentage of .486, which also leads the team. The next highest is Czoey White with a .467 on-base percentage while Kailey Reese is second on the team with a hitting percentage of .270.

Henderson State won the last meeting against OBU nearly two years ago at Dee White Field, 1-0. Current-Reddie Monica Monreal had the one RBI that April day. HSU is 11-5 at home against the Tigers since 2012 and has won seven of the last 10 matchups.

SCOUTING OUACHITA BAPTIST
Ouachita Baptist (6-4, 4-2) comes across the street winners of three of its last four games, including a 17-6 defeat of Oklahoma Baptist in the Tigers' highest scoring outing in the last decade. As a team, OBU registered 18 hits, led by Callie Jourdan and Hope Waid with four and three hits, respectively.

Sloane Precure is hitting .419 to lead Ouachita while Lauren Lester followers her with .391. Jillian Jones leads the team with three homers and nine RBIs. Thanks in large part to the 17 run performance against OKBU, OBU has seven girls with at least four RBIs on the season.

The Tigers are 4-3 on the road this season compared to 2-0 at home. In its three road losses, OBU has only mustered four runs and given up 19. In the last road game for Ouachita, Harding was responsible for 11 hits in a 10-1 Lady Bisons victory.
