Henderson State University Athletics

The late Allen Howard lettered in football, baseball, and track before he graduated from Henderson State Teachers College in 1956.  As a freshman after the 1950 season, he was named to the second-team All-Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference team.  During the 1953-1955 seasons, Howard was named to the All-AIC teams as a guard and a tackle and was named AIC’s Lineman of the Year in 1955
