Henderson State University Athletics

Haygood coached football, baseball, basketball, and track at Henderson and was athletic director from 1907-24. His football teams won four state championships (1907-10). The football stadium and gym at Henderson were named in his honor. Haygood was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 1960.
