One of the finest athletes to ever come through the Reddie football program, Garett Manning was a four-year letterman who earned All-GSC, All-Region and All-American honors during his standout career from 2005-08. In 2008, Manning earned Daktronics Second-Team All-American recognition, as well as D2Football.com Honorable Mention and Don Hansen Honorable Mention All-American honors. A multi-position star, Manning served as the Reddies starting quarterback for two years and a starting wide receiver for two years. Manning ranks fifth all-time at Henderson State in career receiving yards with 1948 and also threw for 2698 yards and ran for an additional 1068. His 5714 all-purpose yards rank fourth in program history and he is the only Reddie ever to record 1000 or more passing, receiving and rushing yards in a career.
