Pryor was an All-AIC from 1971-74 in football and NAIA All-American in football in 1974. He held the HSU single-season punt-return record with 16.3 average in 1974 and the HSU single-season kickoff-return record with 39.3 average in 1974. Pryor signed as a free agent with New Orleans in 1974 and was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1989.
